March 31, 1984-George Weir established the corner through lost corner methods and set a 1" iron pipe at the corner. The corner was set midway and online between the found Northwest and Northeast corners of Section 8. It is noted that the original government survey notes show the corner set only 0.90 chains east of the river along the section line. Due to so much discrepancy between the two locations, the lost corner method was used to reestablish. August 25, 2009-John Krebs found a 1" iron pipe at the section corner and all four ties from the George Weir tie sheet. The position was accepted and 3 new reference ties were set. (j) I, Kevin C.
