July 23-An unnamed tie sheet(with no year) shows the Northeast corner of Section 23 being set by air photo and an old fence line to the east and west at the centerline of Hildreth Road as a PK nail and is referenced to fieldbook 510. January 7, 1986- Roger Schneeberger found a 1 1/4" iron pipe in the centerline of Hildreth Road at the extension of an east-west fence to the west. One tie from the July 23 (no year) tie sheet was found and verified. In November 1973, George Weir Map 8304-L shows an iron stake found at this location. The location of the iron pipe was accepted and a Dane County Aluminum Monument was set in place of the pipe. Four reference ties were set. (j) I, Kevin C.
