May 10, 1967 -George Weir set the East 1/4 corner of Section 13 through the use of County survey records and air photographs referenced to fieldbook 443. 1967 -An unnamed tie sheet shows the East 1/4 corner of Section 13 and C.T.H. A with reference ties and referenced to fieldbook 446, page 65. January 7, 1986 - Roger Schneeberger found a 1 1/4" iron pipe at the corner and reference ties per the May 10, 1967 tie sheet. The pipe was used by G. A. Weir in 1971, CSM No. 646, and again by R. F. Sarko in 1981, CSM No. 3752, and other surveys in the area. The location of the monument was accepted and a Dane County Aluminum Monument was set in place of the pipe. Two additional reference ties were set. (j) I, Kevin C.
