The railroad spike was accepted for the <br /> location and 4 reference ties were set. <br /> January 13, 1987 - Ross Michaels found the railroad spike at the southwest corner of Section 23 as found by <br /> George Weir along with 3 of the 4 reference ties. The location of the railroad spike was accepted. <br /> July 20, 1988 - Richard Schaut found a railroad spike and the reference ties. The railroad spike was replaced <br /> with a Bernsten cast aluminum monument and referenced to the existing ties. <br /> (j) I, Kevin C.
