This proposed residential rezoning is in the Agricultural Preservation Area of the Town <br /> of Roxbury. <br /> It appears to meet most of the adopted policy criteria, except that the upland area is productive <br /> farmland. <br /> The plan does contain provision for an additional farm residence for parents or children of the farm <br /> operator if the conditional use standards of the Exclusive Agricultural District are met. The key <br /> conditions to be met are: <br /> - the need for the proposed use <br /> - the availability of alternative locations <br /> If these conditions are met, this appears to be consistent. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DEPT.
