COMPOSIT .REPORT
• APPLICATION # \re
•
•
TOWN BOARD COMMENT:
STAFF COMMENTS
REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSION (RPC)
Petition 5814. This proposed residential rezoning is in an agricultural preservation area of the Town
of Dunkirk. While it appears the number of parcels exceeds the density policy, there is a significant
parcel being down-zoned from R-2 residential to A-1 Exclusive Agriculture.
We note also that the R-2 area south of Hammond Road is currently R-2 and therefore not a new
rezoning.
There is a proposed restriction on the RH-1 parcel south of Hammond Road to preclude construction
of a house.
There is an existing farmhouse on the eastern RH-2 parcel
The western RH-2 parcel is proposed for the owner's use. This appears to be the only new house
permitted by this rezoning.
•
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DEPT. (EHD)
. CO. HIGHWAY DEPT.
Petition 5814 . The R-2 parcel will likely have to access
Hammond Road due to steep side slopes near the bridge approach.
CTH "N" is not controlled access in this area.
OTHER
