SUPPLEMENTAL COMMENT: <br /> Petition 5817. The comments on this petition indicate a conflict with the density policy of one lot per <br /> 40 acres in Albion. <br /> At the public hearing, Mr. Stolen indicated he is buying the land as farmland, with the existing <br /> buildings to be separated off on the RH-2 parcel. <br /> The density conflict arises because the RH-4 rezoning would allow an additional non-farm home. <br /> We note that Stolen Farms property surrounds this site to the west, south and east. <br /> The density issue could be resolved in several ways: <br /> 1. If the RH-2 parcel were five acres or less, that would leave a balance of 35 acres, which could <br /> remain in the Exclusive Agricultural District and there would be no change in density. <br /> 2. According to Mr. Stolen,he intends to buy this land as farmland and use it as part of the larger <br /> surrounding farm. Another residential use could be rationalized as part of the larger farm which <br /> is currently over 200 acres in size. <br />
