COMPOSIT REPORT <br /> APPLICATION # CM P 1/08 <br /> TOWN BOARD COMMENT: <br /> STAFF COMMENTS <br /> REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSION (RPC) <br /> CUP 1108. This proposed mineral extraction site was previously approved and used for the USH 151 <br /> construction project. Since it was limited to that project, the applicant is now asking that it be approved for <br /> ongoing mineral extraction. <br /> It is physically adjacent to another active quarry to the west. There is a single-family home on the parcel at <br /> the southeast corner of the site. There are also homes on the parcels farther south on CTH VV. <br /> The site appears reasonably compatible if: <br /> -Access for extraction is from Stone Quarry Road. <br /> -The quarrying is phased from west to east. <br /> -Noise and blast limits are imposed similar to other quarries. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DEPT.
