This site, with two existing businesses (a body shop and a contractor's shop) appears to <br /> conflict with adopted policies, since it is in an agricultural preservation area of the Town of Sun Prairie. <br /> There are single-family homes on the lots to the northeast and west. The relevant adopted town/county <br /> policy is: <br /> Only commercial uses clearly related to or compatible with agricultural production should be <br /> permitted to rezone in designated agricultural preservation areas. Small family owned and <br /> operated businesses that provide a community service and do not change the character or use of <br /> the property are generally permitted but require Town Board approval. <br /> Comments <br /> -These uses are not agriculture related. <br /> -These uses do affect the character of the area with extra traffic, contractor vehicles and vehicles awaiting <br /> repair at the body shop parked around the buildings. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DEPT.
