EXHIBIT A <br /> LONG-TERM MAINTENANCE PROVISIONS <br /> RESPONSIBLE PARTY: <br /> The Owner is responsible for satisfying the provisions of this agreement throughout the <br /> lot area for the duration of the construction period and upon completion of all <br /> construction phases and acceptance of improvements,the Owner shall retain <br /> responsibility for the long-term maintenance. <br /> PERMANENT COMPONENTS OF THE STORMWATER SYSTEM:, <br /> The storm water system consists of the following components: <br /> (See attached Figure A for site location) <br /> Basin <br /> 1. Storm water dry detention basin <br /> 2. Storm water basin outlet structure and outfall <br /> Residential Driveway <br /> 1. Driveway ditches serving the new residence <br /> INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE: <br /> The following are component specific maintenance requirements: <br /> 1. Storm water basin outlet structures and outfalls <br /> a. Inspect outlet structures at least twice a year. Inspect after rainfalls greater <br /> than Y2"that produce runoff. <br /> b. If outlet structure becomes damaged, it shall be repaired or replaced with in- <br /> kind according to approved drawings. <br /> 2. Driveway ditches <br /> a. Inspect drainage swale at least twice a year. Inspect after rainfalls greater than <br /> '/2" that produce runoff. <br /> b. The drainage swale shall be maintained in vegetative cover. The northern <br /> swale is to be mowed a minimum twice annually or as needed for weed <br /> control. The mowing height shall be no less than 3". <br /> c. If waterway becomes damaged or eroded, it shall be repaired. <br /> PROHIBITIONS: <br /> Applications of fertilizers,herbicides,pesticide or other chemical applications are <br /> prohibited in buffer areas, on pond banks and along drainage ways. <br /> No component of the storm water treatment system, including storm water conveyances, <br /> detention basins, and outlets, may be disturbed, obstructed or encroached upon in any <br /> way. <br />
