This proposed non-farm residential site is in an agricultural <br /> preservation area of the Town of Perry. The site meets most of the criteria, except <br /> for one: <br /> "e. A parcel shape which promotes maintenance of adjacent <br /> agricultural parcels and which minimizes the length of access <br /> from a public road to the structure. " <br /> While the "flag pole" of the flag lot does follow a farm drive, thus not necessarily <br /> taking more land out of production, the driveway Is well over one-fourth mile long. <br /> Having a drive over one-fourth mile long appears to conflict with the policy of <br /> minimizing the length of access from a public road. <br /> • <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DEPT.
