H. Raemisch & Sons, Inc. have <br /> engaged in extensive discussions regarding the proposed quarry <br /> expansion. As a result of those discussions and through the <br /> cooperation of the parties, a formal agreement has been entered <br /> into setting forth the terms and conditions for the quarry <br /> expansion. The agreement addresses the concerns of both the <br /> neighboring property owners as well as the quarry operator and, as <br /> with any agreement, each of the parties compromised their positions <br /> to reach an agreement. <br /> In particular, the parties agreed to request the <br /> Commission to issue the Conditional Use Permit subject to the <br /> conditions fully set forth in Exhibit A. In summary, these <br /> conditions are: <br /> 1. All blasting within the expansion will be completed <br /> by August 1, 1993 . <br /> 2 . Mining will be restricted to an area 200 feet south <br /> of the existing quarry and, except for reclamation <br /> activities, will be completed by August 1, 1993 . <br /> 3 . All blasting, mining and excavation will be <br /> completed within thirty (30) months of final plat <br /> approval of Waunakee Heights First Addition, and <br />
