This proposed boarding and riding stable Is in a farmland preservation <br /> area of the Town of Middleton. <br /> There are houses on virtually all of the smaller parcels shown on the map, a tree <br /> nursery to the south and all of the other surrounding land is farmland. There is an <br /> existing house and horse stable on the site. <br /> The horse boarding and riding appears reasonably compatible for this rural area with <br /> its low density residential uses. <br /> However , we note there Is a polo field on-site. If there are to be polo matches <br /> with extra horses, trailers, and spectators, there needs to be specific conditions <br /> limiting such events. <br /> Environmental Health Dept. (E.H.D.) - <br /> CUP 1027 Consideration should be given to the proposal for <br /> regular animal waste removal and control of insect or rodent <br /> pests that can be associated with this type of operation. <br /> Co.
