January 8, 1992
JAN 111993
.16t\i 1 1 1993
To: The Town Board Members RECEIVED
Town Clerk ZONING DIV.
( Please read at the meeting)
ZONING DIV..
Re: PETITION # 5525
Rezoning (5236 CTH TT & 5229 Pierceville Road)
In considering the above, it certainly seems apparent that the rezoning on
the two homesites should be done considering the circumstances of Mr.
Morehouses' estate. However; since the property is for sale; maybe the
new owner would like to have a few animals -- horses, etc. and the zoning
change could actually hurt the new owner(s). In fact; should the new
owner request the zoning?
It appears that the rezoning request is more directed at the raw land to be
rezoned RH-2 Rural Homes.
I would like to ask the Town Board as well as the Dane County Zoning
authorities to look at the water ways of the parcel; since the west end of
the parcel is low and water is coming off of the Paskey, Reige, Yelk and
Bradley (Woldt farm) properties. Also, off of Pierceville Road, there is a
large amount of water coming from the land to the east - Henke & Krischer
properties.
In making this decision, one that will last for the next 100 years or so;
make sure that all of us understand want kind of property is going to be
RH-2. This could be the first step in establishing the Village of
Pierceville in the 21st century.
Thank you for your consideration and I wish I could be at this meeting.
Sincerely,
James G. Henke
ra--4
