John Rowley' s salvage yard, <br /> I would like to express support for his expansion request on <br /> behalf of my company and myself . <br /> My company sells farm equipment and parts wholesale thru-out <br /> the U. S .A. and Canada . Consequently, we have to dispose of <br /> obsolete parts and we also have the same problem with <br /> returned warranty parts, of which we handle on a monthly <br /> basis . Without his salvage yard, it would be inconvenient for <br /> us to take our scrap metal to another location . <br /> Mr . Rowley' s salvage yard provides a great service to our <br /> company and many others in the area . In this day and age of <br /> recycling, I could not understand why anyone could object to <br /> his request for expansion, based on the new recycling laws <br /> enacted in the last few years on a very broad range of <br /> materials . <br /> It appears that everyone needs a place to take their <br /> recyclable materials, but not everyone wants it in their back <br /> yard . If we are to look around closer to Madison, we would <br /> find that you can drive past several recycling centers and <br /> see their mess from the street without screening . In driving <br /> past Mr . Rowley' s salvage yard, it does not appear to be a <br /> salvage yard from the road . What better location could there <br /> be then in it ' s present location . <br /> Like most companies in the area, their is a need to keep up <br /> with the times and expand from time to time . Mr . Rowley' s <br /> request is very reasonable and should be approved .
