COMPOSIT REPORT <br /> APPLICATION # le14.:32 Cult/Q 44 0 <br /> TOWN BOARD COMMENT: <br /> STAFF COMMENTS <br /> REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSION (RPC) <br /> Petition 5532. CUP 1040. This proposed salvage yard expansion was previously reviewed as petition <br /> 5408, CUP 1007 in August 1992. <br /> The site is on a narrow town road, screened from the road by trees. <br /> If this expansion of the salvage yard is justified, it should have the same conditions as the existing area. <br /> There is no justification of the need for expansion submitted with the application. <br /> There needs to be careful review of the proposed recycling center. What materials are to be recycled? <br /> What will be the collection, storage, and removal process? What type of traffic will it generate? These <br /> and other possible questions should be answered to be able to provide adequate safeguards to the <br /> neighbors and the environment through conditions which could include fluid containment and control of <br /> potentially hazardous materials. <br /> The applicant should be requested to submit information and plans which respond to these and any other <br /> concerns, prior to consideration of approval. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DEPT.
