At present, <br /> the area is stabilized with a combination of dense sod, gravel <br /> access areas, and a small area of corn. The outer perimeter is <br /> planted to trees. The primary soil is Dunbarton Silt Loam, 6-20% <br /> slopes. <br /> In discussing both the existing and proposed operation with Mr. <br /> Rowley, the erosion control concerns are minimal . There is no <br /> active soil disturbing activity associated with the operation. <br /> However, the area planted to corn should be seeded down to a <br /> dense ground cover. In addition, for the drainage to the SE, it <br /> is suggested to plant switchgrass.
