This proposed drain tile business is in an agricultural preservation area of the Town of Sun <br /> Prairie. The relevant policy is: "Only commercial uses clearly related to or compatible with agricultural <br /> production should be permitted to rezone in designated agricultural preservation areas." <br /> Agricultural drain tile appears to be a business which is compatible with this policy. <br /> In the immediate area there is a farmstead to the north and northwest, there is a single family residence on the <br /> "L" shaped parcel to the south, a tavern on the B-1 parcel to the south, and the C-2 parcel which is pending <br /> for R-3A (Duplex) is currently vacant. <br /> Since this is a very visible site with very close neighboring uses, all storage of materials and equipment should <br /> be required to be kept within the proposed building. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DEPT.
