MINUTES OF THE DANE COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> MEETING OF OCTOBER 15, 1971 <br /> 40, The Dane County Board of Adjustment met on October 15, 1971, at 7:30 P.M. <br /> in Room 226 (Circuit Court IV) to conduct a Public Hearing as published <br /> in the notice. <br /> Present: Erickson, Holte, Dahlk. Also: Enger, Fleck. <br /> Meeting was called to .order, motion to approve the minutes of September <br /> 17, and October 9. 1971 by Holte, second by Dahlk, carried. Notice was <br /> read and the Public Hearing was opened. <br /> k/ #136. Appeal by Ivan Kindschi from denial of a permit to build an additions <br /> to a residence located in the SW SEA of Section 36, Township of Madison. <br /> Permit denied because rear yard is less than required by the Dane County <br /> Zoning Ordinance. <br /> IN FAVOR: Ivan Kindschi, presented plot plan, proposed garage addition <br /> to house would preserve rear yard. <br /> OPPOSED: None <br /> TOWN BOARD: Don Pierstorff, Supervisor, in favor. <br /> #137. Appeal by Natale Troia from denial of a permit to build an <br /> addition to a residence located on Lot 8, Assessor's Plat #2, Section 9, <br /> Township of Dunn. Permit denied because setback from road is less than <br /> required by the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> IN FAVOR: Mrs. Troia presented plot plan, only location for garage on <br /> small lot. Size cannot be reduced or it will be too small for cars. <br /> OPPOSED: Dick Harrison, property owner one lot from Troias. Objected <br /> to variances permitting building closer and closer to the road, will <br /> create an undesirable situation in the area. <br /> T0WN BOARD: Viewed site October 9, 1971. L. Beggs, Supervisor, told <br /> Mrs. Troia that she had their approval. <br /> 1; #138. Appeal by Don Fechner from denial of a permit to build an accessory, <br /> building on a parcel of land located in the NE'/4 Sin^,• of Section 19, Town- <br /> ship of Berry. Permit denied because setback from road is less than re- <br /> quired by the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> IN FAVOR: Don Fechner presented plot plan, chose proposed site because <br /> of marshy area South of house. <br /> OPPOSED: None <br /> T0WN BOARD: Werner Kock, Chairman, in favor. <br /> #139. Appeal by Stewart Watson of the decision of the Zoning Supervisor <br /> in regard to the claim of a non-conforming mineral extraction located in <br /> the NE's+ NW'; , SEA NW;w and SW",4 NE14 of Section 11, Township of Cross Plains. <br /> Chairman Erickson read correspondence from Glen Henry, Corporation <br /> Counsel, stating that the Board of Adjustment has no jurisdiction in this <br /> case as there was no adverse ruling by the Zoning Supervisor to appeal. <br /> #135. Appeal by Leo Esser from denial of a permit to build an addition <br /> co a residence located in the SW NW, of Section 32, Township of Spring- <br /> field. Permit denied because setback from road is less than required <br /> by the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> IN FAVOR: Leo Esser; variance required to add to and enclose existing <br /> porch. - <br /> OPPOSED: None <br /> TOWN BOARD: Met the Board of Adjustment on the inspection trip. Albert <br /> Endres, Chairman, stated that they were in favor. <br />
