MINUTES OF THE DANE COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT PAGE 1 <br /> MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 18, 1970 <br /> The Dane County Board of Adjustment met on September 18, 1970 at 7:30 P. M. <br /> in Room 226 (Circuit Court, Branch IV), to conduct a Public Hearing as <br /> published in the notice. <br /> tre Present: Mssrs. Erickson, Holte, Dahik. <br /> Others present: Enger, Fleck. <br /> Meeting was called to order, notice was read and the Public Hearing opened. <br /> 1. Appeal by Gary N. Paske from denial of permit to build an addition to a <br /> residence located in the NA NA Section 3, Township of Burke. Permit <br /> denied because rear yard is less than required by the Dane County Zoning <br /> Ordinance. <br /> IN FAVOR: Gary N. Paske, Rt. 1, DeForest, presented plans for addition to <br /> house, stated that he had first option to purchase land to the rear of his <br /> property. <br /> OPPOSED: None <br /> 0d BOARD: Not present <br /> 3. Appeal by Charles R. Turk from denial of a permit to build a barn on a <br /> parcel of land located in the SE I-4 SE 4 Section 25, Township of Black Earth. <br /> Permit denied because Centerline setback is less than required by the Dane <br /> County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> IN FAVOR: Charles R. Turk, .Route 1, Black Earth,presented drawing showing <br /> proposed building and existing buildings. All of the buildings on both side. <br /> of the. road are non-conforming, some to an even greater degree. Mr. Erickso ; <br /> where would you build otherwise? Mr. Turk; further back, but this would in- <br /> trude upon corn field. Mr. Dahlk; will there be any ingress or eggress at <br /> this barn. Mr. Turk; no. <br /> OPPOSED: none <br /> TON BOARD: not present • <br /> 4. Appeal by Russell Greeve from denial of permit to build an addition to <br /> • <br /> a residence on a parcel of alnd located in the SA SE 1/4 Section 35, Township <br /> of Vermont.Permit denied because Center line setback was less than required <br /> by the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> IN FAVOR: R. Greeve presented drawing of proposed addition, stated that <br /> placing the addition elsewhere would be almost impossible. Other buildings <br /> are closer to JG than the addition would be so there would be no added <br /> danger or loss of visability to JG. Also, the road had been moved closer to <br /> the house some time back. ( <br /> OPPOSED: none 1 <br /> TOWN BOARD: not present <br /> 5. Appeal by George Knudson from denial of permit to build an accessory <br /> • building,(garage),to a residence located on Lot 5, Wendellwood, Township of <br /> Verona. Permit denied because side yard is less than required by the Dane <br /> County Zoning Ordinance. 1 <br /> IN FAVOR: G. Knudson, Route 1, Verona, stated proposed location was only <br /> feasible place to locate the garage. Mr. Ericksony why the change of lo- <br /> cation from that on the permit to the proposed site? Mr. Knudson; Relied on <br /> contractors who made the measurments, garage was always intended for pro- <br /> posed site. 1 <br /> OPPOSED: none <br /> TOWN BOARD: Donald Feller, Chairman, unanimously in favor. <br /> 2. Appeal by R. C. Anderson from denial of permit to build an addition to a <br /> building located on Lots 6, 7, and 8, Block 11, Village of Morrisonville, <br /> Township of Windsor. Permit denied because setbacks are less than required <br /> by the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> IN FAVOR: R. C. Anderson, Morrisonville, presented drawing of proposed <br />
