MINUTES OF THE DANE COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT PAGE 1 MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 18, 1970 The Dane County Board of Adjustment met on September 18, 1970 at 7:30 P. M. in Room 226 (Circuit Court, Branch IV), to conduct a Public Hearing as published in the notice. tre Present: Mssrs. Erickson, Holte, Dahik. Others present: Enger, Fleck. Meeting was called to order, notice was read and the Public Hearing opened. 1. Appeal by Gary N. Paske from denial of permit to build an addition to a residence located in the NA NA Section 3, Township of Burke. Permit denied because rear yard is less than required by the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. IN FAVOR: Gary N. Paske, Rt. 1, DeForest, presented plans for addition to house, stated that he had first option to purchase land to the rear of his property. OPPOSED: None 0d BOARD: Not present 3. Appeal by Charles R. Turk from denial of a permit to build a barn on a parcel of land located in the SE I-4 SE 4 Section 25, Township of Black Earth. Permit denied because Centerline setback is less than required by the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. IN FAVOR: Charles R. Turk, .Route 1, Black Earth,presented drawing showing proposed building and existing buildings. All of the buildings on both side. of the. road are non-conforming, some to an even greater degree. Mr. Erickso ; where would you build otherwise? Mr. Turk; further back, but this would in- trude upon corn field. Mr. Dahlk; will there be any ingress or eggress at this barn. Mr. Turk; no. Appeal by Russell Greeve from denial of permit to build an addition to • a residence on a parcel of alnd located in the SA SE 1/4 Section 35, Township of Vermont.Permit denied because Center line setback was less than required by the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. IN FAVOR: R. Greeve presented drawing of proposed addition, stated that placing the addition elsewhere would be almost impossible. Other buildings are closer to JG than the addition would be so there would be no added danger or loss of visability to JG. Also, the road had been moved closer to the house some time back. ( OPPOSED: none 1 TOWN BOARD: not present 5. Appeal by George Knudson from denial of permit to build an accessory • building,(garage),to a residence located on Lot 5, Wendellwood, Township of Verona. Permit denied because side yard is less than required by the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. 1 IN FAVOR: G. Knudson, Route 1, Verona, stated proposed location was only feasible place to locate the garage. Mr. Ericksony why the change of lo- cation from that on the permit to the proposed site? Mr. Knudson; Relied on contractors who made the measurments, garage was always intended for pro- posed site. 1 OPPOSED: none TOWN BOARD: Donald Feller, Chairman, unanimously in favor. 2. Appeal by R. C. Anderson from denial of permit to build an addition to a building located on Lots 6, 7, and 8, Block 11, Village of Morrisonville, Township of Windsor.
