MINUTES OF THE DANE COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> MEETING OF DECEMBER 18, 1970 <br /> The Dane County Board of Adjustment met on December 18, 1970 at 7:30 P. M. <br /> in Room 226 (Circuit Court Branch IV), to conduct a public hearing as <br /> published in the notice. <br /> a .. <br /> PRESENT: Erickson, Dahlk. ALSO: Fleck. <br /> Meeting was called to order, Notice was read and the public hearing was <br /> opened. <br /> #103. Appeal by Mrs. E. Shimniok from denial of a permit to build an <br /> addition to a residence located on a parcel of land in the SEn SW1 <br /> Section 26, Township of Black Earth. Permnit denied because setback <br /> is less than required by the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> IN FAVOR: Mrs. Shimniok; due to inexperience and misunderstanding <br /> did not realize that setback was not correct. Located on edge of <br /> village limits and all houses are at this setback or closer. <br /> OPPOSED: none. <br /> TOWN BOARD: not present. <br /> #104. Appeal by Raymond Lee from denial of a permit to build an accessory <br /> building on a parcel of land located in the Ng✓ SW4 Section 7, <br /> Township of Cross Plains. Permit denied because setback is less than <br /> required by the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> IN FAVOR: R. Lee requested a variance of 13' because terrain is too <br /> steep further back from road. <br /> OPPOSED: none. <br /> TOWN BOARD: not present. <br /> #105. Appeal by Paul C. Tracy from denial of a permit to build an addition <br /> to a residence located on lots 3 and 4, Kegonsa Park, Section 30, <br /> Township of Pleasant Springs. Permit denied because side yard is <br /> less than required by the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> IN FAVOR: Ralph Bradley, representing P. Tracy, presented a drawing, <br /> stated the 4:1/2' variance would be only on the right rear corner and <br /> would taper away from side lot line, towards the front of house, for! <br /> a distance of only 20' . <br /> OPPOSED: none. <br /> TOWN BOARD: not present. <br /> The public hearing was closed. <br /> #103. Motion by Dahlk to grant variance, 2nd by Erickson, carried, <br /> #104. Motion by Dahlk to grant 13' variance, 2nd by Erickson, carried. <br /> #105.
