BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MEETING - JUNE 27, 1969 <br /> The Dane County Board of Adjustment met at 7:30 P.M., June 27, 1969 <br /> in Room 226 (Circuit Court Branch IV), City-County Building, Madison, <br /> Wisconsin to conduct a public hearing as published in the notice. The <br /> following members were present: Millard Erickson, Chairman; Oscar <br /> Holte, Vice-Chairman; Hermann Eisner, Secretary. Also present: L. J. <br /> Enger, Zoning Assistant. <br /> The meeting was called to order, the notice read and the following <br /> cases heard: <br /> 1. Appeal by Jack Miller from the denial of a permit to build an, <br /> addition to a building in the NE% SW% of Section 26, Town of Dunn. <br /> Permit denied because set back from town road is less than required <br /> by Dane County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> THOSE IN FAVOR: Mr. Miller explained that his business of rigging <br /> parachutes operated under Federal Aviation Agency rules and that <br /> the addition was started in order to satisfy the Agency requirements. <br /> He was not aware that a permit was needed. He said that he has been <br /> using the building for about 30 years and the two additions were <br /> added at about that time. <br /> THOSE OPPOSED: None <br /> TOWN BOARD: Mr. Olson said that he thought that the building had been <br /> used by Mr. Miller for more than 30 years and that there was no ob- <br /> jection to the addition by the Town Board. <br /> ACTION BY THE BOARD: Mr. Holte moved for approval, Mr. Eisner seconded <br /> and the motion carried unanimously. <br /> 2. Appeal by Cecil Gillingham from the denial of a permit to build an <br /> addition to a residence on Lot 10, Block 3, Waubesa Beach Subdivision, <br /> Town of Dunn. Permit denied because side yard would be less than re- <br /> quired by the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> THOSE IN FAVOR: Mr. Gillingham showed a map with present garage, which <br /> will be razed for the addition. The addition will provide more side yard <br /> than the present garage does. <br /> THOSE OPPOSED: None <br /> TOWN BOARD: The town board was in favor of granting the variance. <br /> ACTION BY THE BOARD: Mr. Eisner moved for approval, Mr. Holte second- <br /> ed and the motion carried unanimously. <br /> 3. Appeal by John Pulvermacher from the denial of a permit to build a <br /> machine shed in the NE34 SE34 of Section 36, Town of Medina. Permit denied <br /> because set back from town road is less than required by the Dane County <br /> Zoning Ordinance. <br /> THOSE IN FAVOR: Mr. Pulvermacher explained that the new machine shed <br /> would be set back farther than the existing building which will be razed, <br /> A variance is needed to save the driveway to the barn. The road is a dead <br /> end road and there are two other farms beyond his. <br /> THOSE OPPOSED: None <br />
