BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MEETING - AUGUST 22, 1969 <br /> The Dane County Board of Adjustment met at 7:30 P.M., August 22, 1969 in <br /> Room 226 (Circuit Court Branch IV), City-County Building, Madison, Wisconsin <br /> to conduct a public hearing as published in the notice. The following <br /> liv members were present: Millard Erickson, Hermann Eisner, Oscar Holte. Also <br /> present: L. J. Enger, Zoning Assistant. <br /> The meeting was called to order, on the motion of Mr. Eisner and seconded <br /> by Mr. Holte the minutes of the meetings of August 1, 2 and 16, 1969 were <br /> adopted. On the motion of Mr. Eisner and seconded by Mr. Holte, the budget <br /> recommendations were approved. The notice was read and the following cases <br /> heard: <br /> 1. Appeal by Milton Hamblett from the denial of a permit to build a garage <br /> on Lot 16, Lee's Park, Town of Pleasant Springs. Permit denied because <br /> set back from road is less than required by the Dane County Zoning Ordinan•• . <br /> THOSE IN FAVOR: Mr. and Mrs. Hamblett and Miss Hamblett appeared and pre- <br /> sented a new plot plan showing the garage to be nearer the house toward the <br /> east side of the lot. The new location would require a side yard variance. <br /> Ordinance requires 10 feet of side yard and plans require 2Y2 feet. <br /> THOSE OPPOSED: None <br /> TOWN BOARD: Did not appear. <br /> ACTION BY THE BOARD: Motion by Mr. Eisner to approve, seconded by Mr. Holt , <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> 2. Appeal by Charles Slaght from the denial of a permit to build a garage <br /> on Lot 1, Block 4, Assessor's Plat #1, Town of Dunn. Permit denied because <br /> set back from road is less than required by the Dane County Zoning Ordinan. . <br /> THOSE IN FAVOR: Mr. Slaght appeared and present his plot plan for the loc- <br /> ation of the garage, explaining that to set back the required distance <br /> would block his view of the lake. <br /> THOSE OPPOSED: None <br /> TOWN BOARD: Hartman Olson, Chairman of the Town of Dunn had telephoned <br /> the Zoning Office, stating that the town board had no objection. <br /> ACTION BY THE BOARD: Motion by Mr. Eisner to approve, seconded by Mr. Holt- , <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> Motion to adjourn by Mr. Eisner, seconded by Mr. Holte, carried unanimousl . <br /> Secretary, Hermann Eisner <br /> Vice-Chairman, Oscar Holte /, / /)G <br /> L <br />
