Buildings must be firmly anchored to prevent their floating <br /> away. <br /> b. Electrical and heating service and outlets must be installed <br /> above the flood protection elevation of 742.75 feet - U.S.G.S. <br /> datum: (3 feet plus above ground elevation.) <br /> Motion carried. <br /> #527. Motion by Voges second by Dahlk to grant variance of 570 feet <br /> from required distance between signs and a variance from requirement <br /> of only one business per sign face thereby permitting 3 businesses, <br /> Cave of the Mounds, Little Norway and Tyrol Basin Ski area to advertise <br /> on one sign. As per finding of fact: , <br /> 4 <br /> 1. Sign is to direct public to next intersection and necessarily has <br /> to be located before the intersection. <br /> 2. A State permit has been issued for this location and only one <br /> sign can be erected. <br /> 3. As only one sign can be erected the three businesses could not <br /> utilize separate signs. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> a. Variance is not contrary to rights of others or to the public <br /> interest. <br /> b. Hardship is caused by the ordinance and is not self-imposed. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> #528. Motion by Dahlk second by Voges to grant the Special Exception <br /> Permit as per finding of fact. <br /> 1. Shoreline has suffered severe erosion. <br /> 2. Rip-rap will not be placed on lake bed. <br /> 3. Design is such to break up ice and to provide gravel filter to <br /> prevent siltation. <br /> 4. DNR permit has been issued. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> #529. Motion by Voges second by Dahlk to grant the Special Exception <br /> to fill as per finding of fact: <br /> 1. Property is not located in the flood plain area or in the <br /> flood-way. <br /> 2. Fill will be seeded to prevent erosion. <br /> 3. Amount of fill is not excessive for purpose intended to pro- <br /> vide yard for new residence. <br /> Motion carried. , <br />
