At present, its location does <br /> have an adverse affect as to location of other signs. <br /> 2. Proposed location of Blackhawk Ridge sign is critical for direction <br /> of the public to proper turn-off from U.S. Highway 12. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> A. Unnecessary hardship <br /> B. Proposed sign is in the interest of the public and not contrary <br /> to rights of others. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> #459. Motion by Voges second by Dahlk to grant a variance of 17 feet <br /> from required setback on CTH JJ and a variance of 20 feet from required <br /> setback on Moe Road as per finding of fact and with the condition that <br /> the vision corner area of the property will be kept clear of any obstructi g <br /> trees, shrubbery, etc. <br /> 1. Existing residence is non-conforming as to location. <br /> 2. Addition could not be built to the rear because of steep slope and <br /> is impractical on the side. <br /> 3. Addition will not obstruct highway vision. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> A. Unnecessary hardship. <br /> B. Variance is not contrary to public interest or to rights of <br /> others. <br /> C. Variance is required to provide right enjoyed by others. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> #460. Motion by Dahlk second by Voges to grant a Special Exception Permit ' <br /> to construct an accessory building in a flood plain area with the followin. . . <br /> conditions: <br /> 1. Building will be fastened to concrete slab or poured footings by <br /> lag bolts set in the concrete or, pole structure will have poles set <br /> in cement. <br /> 2. Electrical service including outlets may not be installed below <br /> the flood protection level. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> #461. Motion by Dahlk second by Voges to grant a variance of 13 1/2 feet <br /> from required setback on CTH W as per finding of fact: <br /> 1. Existing residence is non-conforming as to setback. <br /> 2. Addition is to the rear of residence and will not encroach into <br /> required setback area. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> A. Unnecessary hardship <br /> B. Variance is necessary to provide rights enjoyed by others. <br /> C.
