MINUTES OF THE DANE COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> 4.14 May 15, 1976 <br /> Present: Erickson, Dahlk, Voges , <br /> Also present: Fleck <br /> The Board met at 8:30 A.M. in the City-County garage to make an in- <br /> spection of the properties scheduled for public hearing on May 21, <br /> 1976. The following properties inspected were. <br /> #443. Lot #15, 2nd Addition oakridge, Town of Madison. <br /> #446. Lot #4, Assessor's Plat #1, Town of Dunn. <br /> #449. Lot #103, Westport Heights, Town of Westport. <br /> #452. A parcel of land located in part of the SW 1/4 NE 1/4 of Section <br /> 29, Town of Middleton. <br /> #453. Outlot #2, Lake Windsor Plat, Town of Windsor. <br /> #454. Lot #16, Morris Park, Town of Dunn. <br /> #457. Lots 49 & W 1/2 Lot 48, Brictson Park, Town of Dunn. <br /> #462. Lots 10 & part of Lot 11, Block 2, Morris Park Town of Westport. <br /> The Board received a request from Gary Birkholz appeal #434, to reconsider <br /> his appeal and request a side yard variance of five feet in order to <br /> permit a one car garage width. <br /> Motion by Voges 2nd by Dthlk to grant a five foot variance from required <br /> side yard as per finding of fact. <br /> 1. Existing residence has no garage facility while the other resi- <br /> dences in the area have all been provided with attached garages or car- <br /> ports. <br /> 2. Residence is located in a one-block area zoned A-1 which requires <br /> a total of 25 feet for side yards with minimum of 10 feet on one side. <br /> The area surrounding the one block A-1 district is zoned R-2 R-3 & <br /> R-3A, all of which permit a minimum of 10 feet side yard on each side. <br /> Appeal for reconsideration will provide a minimum of 10 feet each side. <br /> Conclusion: <br /> A. Variance is necessary to provide right enjoyed by others. <br /> B. Variance is not contrary to public interest or rights of <br /> others. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> t <br />
