MINUTES OF THE DANE COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> MEETING OF JULY 18, 1975. <br /> A ' <br /> Present: Erickson, Dahlk, Voges. Also: Enger; Fleck. <br /> • <br /> Meeting called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Chairman Erickson to hold a <br /> Public Hearing as published in the notice. Motion by Dahlk, second <br /> by Voges to approve minutes of June 20, and July 2nd, 1975; carried. <br /> • <br /> Notice was read and the Public Hearing was opened. <br /> #361. Appeal by Donavan A. Martin for a variance from setback require- <br /> ment from COTOH. "KP" as provided by Section 10.17 (2) of. the Dane County <br /> Zoning Ordinance. Variance is necessary to permit and addition to a non- <br /> conforming residence located in part of the S1 SW's Section 22, Township <br /> of Black Earth. <br /> IN FAVOR: D.A. Martin - existing residence is non-conforming. Roof <br /> was damaged by wind storm and needs replacing; also in need of two <br /> additional bedrooms. Non-conformity will not be increased, new bed- <br /> rooms will be within the existing structure. <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: None OPPOSED: None TOWN BOARD: Telephone call <br /> from Chairman Earl Olson; no objection to variance. Letter from Dane <br /> County Highway Department; no objection. <br /> #362. Appeal by O.R. Cade for a variance from rear yard requirement as <br /> provided by Section 10.12 (7) of the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> Variance is necessary to permit an addition to a residence located in <br /> part of the Nk64 NW1/4 Section 31g., Township of Cross Plains. <br /> IN FAVOR: O.R. Cade - existing residence is non-conforming; steep slope <br /> of lot would require excessive fill,or a two, plus, story addition. <br /> Also, there would be problems. with septic and well locations. Property <br /> beyond rear lot line is stone out cropping and top of hill. <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: None OPPOSED: None TOWN BOARD: No Communication <br /> #363. Appeal by Fred Fenster for a variance from rear yard requirement <br /> as provided by Section 10.12 (7) of the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> Variance is necessary to permit and addition to a non-conforming re- <br /> sidence located in part of the NE4 SFr of Section 26, Township of Bristol. <br /> IN FAVOR: F. Fenster - existing residence is non-conforming purpose of <br /> variance is to repair roof and to raise portion of roof to provide <br /> additional living space. Residence was formerly a cheese factory - very <br /> sturdy - 10" poured concrete walls. <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: None OPPOSED: None TOWN BOARD: Communication <br /> #3611. Appeal by Robert G. Grender for a variance from setback requirement <br /> form S.T.H. 78 as provided by Section 10.17 (1) of the Dane County Zoning <br /> Ordinance. Variance is necessary to permit an addition to anon-conformin,, <br /> residence located on part of Outlot 34, Assessor's Plat of Daleyville, <br /> Township ,of Berry. <br /> IN FAVOR: R. Grender - purpose of appeal is to permit replacement of <br /> old garage --existing residence is non-conforming, there will be no <br /> increase in size of garage. <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: None OPPOSED: None TOWN BOARD: No Communication <br /> Telephone call from J.W. Dreaser, Wisconsin State Highway - no plans to <br /> improve "78" - no objection. <br />
