MINUTES OF THE DArvE COUN'T'Y BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> MEETING OF MAY 16, 1975. <br /> Present: Erickson, Dahlk, Voges. Also: Fleck <br /> Meeting called to order by Chairman, Erickson at 7:35 P.M. Notion by <br /> Dahlk second by Voges to approve minutes of April 18, and May 10, 1975; <br /> carried. <br /> The notice was read and the Public Hearing was opened. <br /> #317. Appeal by Karen Grimm and Lois Lawrence for a variance from set- <br /> back required from Jordon Drive as provided by Section 10.17 (3) of the <br /> Dane County Zoning Ordinance. Variance is necessary to permit construc- <br /> tion of a garage on Lot 17, Brictson Park, Township of Dunn. <br /> IN FAVOR: Ms. Grimm and Ms. Lawrence new garage is proposed because <br /> existing garage is too small for cars and other yard equipment also <br /> the slope of the lot is such that snow builas up to a four foot depth <br /> in the existing drive. Variance is requested to allow construction of <br /> the new garage. Closer to the road where it could be more on the level. <br /> The new garage would be even with the garage on the next lot. <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: None. OPPOSED: None. TOWN BOARD: Not present. <br /> #318. Appeal by Ralph P. Carlson for a variance from Shoreline and Barbe <br /> Drive setbacks as provided by Sections 10.16 (7)(a) and 10.17 (Li) of the <br /> Dane County Zoning Ordinance. Variances are necessary to permit construc- <br /> tion of a new residence on the 1 of Lot 18, Richard Standish Replat <br /> of Crown Point. <br /> IN FAVOR: Ralph P. Carlson and Gary & Madeline Giardini. Existing cotta:- <br /> is in very bad repair efforts to renovate are not practical. The lot <br /> is very small and Barber Drive, as shown on the plat, andthe Shoreland <br /> Orainance requirements make it impossible to build a new cottage without <br /> variances being granted. An attorney has been asked to petition the <br /> Town Board for a vacation of Barber Drive since it was never built or <br /> utilitzed. <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: None. OPPOSED: None TOWN BOARD: Not present. <br /> #34y. Appeal by Charles Cox for a variance from rear yard requirements <br /> as provided by Section 10.12 (7) of the Dane County Zoning Orainance <br /> Variance is necessary to permit an addition to an existing, non- <br /> conforming residence located in part of the Sim NW of Section 10, <br /> Township of Albion. <br /> IN FAVOR: C. Cox; existing residence is non-conforming. Purpose of <br /> audition is for sewing and storage room residence is only J rooms and <br /> additional space is needed. The addition will not project beyond the <br /> rear of the house. <br /> OTHER IN FAVOR: None OPPOSED: None TOWN BOARD: Not present. <br /> #350. Appeal by Rick Roedell for a variance from setback requirements <br /> from Williams Point Drive as provided by Section 10.17 (5) of the Dane <br /> County Zoning Ordinance. Variance is necessary to permit an addition <br /> to a garage locates on Lot 40 Williams Point, Township of Pleasant <br /> 0:111 Springs. <br />
