MINUTES OF THE DANE COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> MEETING OF APRIL 18, 1975. <br /> Present: Erickson, Dahlk, Voges. Also: Fleck. <br /> Meeting called to order at 7:30 P.M. in Room 226 by Chairman Erickson <br /> to conduct a Public Hearing as published in the notice. Motion by <br /> Dahlk second by Voges to approve minutes of March 21, 1975 and April <br /> 12, 1975; Motion carried. <br /> Notice was read and the Public Hearing was opened. <br /> #3112. Hearing adjourned from March 21, 1975 (Richard Larson, Lot 3, <br /> Morris Park Township of Dunn). <br /> IN FAVOR: R. Larson; purpose of addition is for near-road storage of <br /> trash cans, bikes, etc. Lot is very steep from road down to the lake <br /> making it very difficult to haul cans etc. up from the house. Other <br /> buildings in the area are closer to the road. <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: None OPPOSED: None TOWN BOARD: Not present. <br /> #344. Appeal by Stanley :Magner for a variance from setback required on <br /> Church Road as provided by `section 10.17 (3) of the Dane County Zoning <br /> Ordinance. Variance is necessary to permit construction of a residence <br /> in part of the NWT SW II, Section 311, Township of Springfield. <br /> IN FAVOR: S. Wagner. Appeal is to permit construction of a residence. <br /> Proposed area is limited because of flood plain and required area for <br /> '/ septic system, the only alternative was to move closer to Church Road. <br /> � The driveway will be on achneider Road. There will be no access off <br /> of Church Road to build further from the road would have required a <br /> Special Exception Permit to fill in the flood plain and the residence <br /> would be required to have the basement above ground. <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: None OPPOSED: None TOWN BOARD: Not present. <br /> #3115. Appeal by James Skaar for a variance from mtback required on U.S. <br /> Highway 12 as provided by Section 10.17 (1) of the Dane County Zoning <br /> Ordinance. Variance is necessary to permit an addition to a noncon- <br /> forming residence located in part of the SE4 NE4, Section 35, Township <br /> of Cottage Grove. <br /> IN FAVOR: J. Skaar; existing residence is non-conforming. The proposed <br /> addition will be built behind the required setback line and will <br /> enlarge the kitchen. <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: None. OPPOSED: None TOWN BOARD: Gene Skaar, <br /> Chairman, Town Board is in favor. <br /> #3116. Appeal by Harold Bloomfield for a variance from setback re- <br /> quired on S.T.H. 73 as provided by Section 10.17 (1) of the Dane <br /> County Zoning Of.dinance. Variance is necessary to permit an addition <br /> to a non-conforming building located in part of the NUS NW4, Section <br /> 22, Town of York. <br /> IN FAVOR: H. Bloomfield; building is non-conforming proposed addition <br /> will provide room for pool table set-up and will be built to the rear <br /> of the building. Have checked with the State Highway Dept. and they <br /> said there were no plans to widen Highway 73. <br /> OTHER IN FAVOR: None OPPOSED: None TOWN BOARD: Not present. <br /> No communications read. <br />
