Appeal by Howard Peterson for a variance from side yard requirement-
as provided by Section 10.07 (6) (a) of The Dane County Zoning Ordinance.
Variance is necessary to permit construction of a residence on Lot 123 Ole
J. Quam Park Addition. Township of Dunn.
IN FAVOR: Howard Peterson, Lot 12 was originally a 60' wide lot, but
when the house on Lot 13 was moved back from the lake it was moved straight
back and encroached onto Lot 12; in the sale of Lot 13 it was required
that part of Lot 12 be given to provide ownership of the land on which the
house and boat-house existed. This created a narrow Lot 12 and caused
problems. The septic system has to be located on the road-side of the lot
and to provide the required 50' from the lake (Shoreland Ordinance), the
house is limited in size - proposed plan is for a 38' wide & 44' deep, 2
story residence. In order to conform to the Ordinance, the hose could
only be 32' wide and would allow only 8' wide bedrooms.
OTHERS IN FAVOR: None OPPOSED: None TOWN BOARD: Not present
#323.
