Also: Fleck. <br /> Meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. in Room 226 to conduct a Public <br /> Hearing as published in the notice. Motion by Holte, second by Dahlk to <br /> approve minutes of September 21, and October 13, 1973, carried. <br /> Notice was read and the Public Hearing was opened. <br /> #239. Appeal by Kenneth R. Johnson from denial of a permit to construct <br /> a house on Lot 11, South Meadow, Township of Westport. Permit denied <br /> because rear yard;is less than required by the Dane County Zoning Ordinanc- . <br /> IN FAVOR: Mr. & Mrs. K. Johnson stated error was made by contractor and <br /> they presented petitions from neighbors in support of granting the <br /> variance. <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: None. <br /> OPPOSED: None. <br /> TOWN BOARD: Kennedy, Shepherd, Tierney in favor. <br /> Communication from L. J. Enger, Zoning Administrator, in opposition to <br /> granting of variance. <br /> #240. Appeal by Walter F. Wirth from denial of a permit to remodel a <br /> non-conforming building located on a parcel of land in the N4J`4 Mk of <br /> Section 34, Township of Vermont. Permit denied because setback from <br /> C.T.H. "JG" is less than required by the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> Irbr IN FAVOR: W. F. Wirth presented site plan, had checked with towil and <br /> no permits were necessary. Presented statement from Zoning Department <br /> signed by L. Popanz stating no permit was necessary if restoration was <br /> maintained on existing foundation with no increase in non-conformity. <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: None. <br /> OPPOSED: Kreuger and Thomas, owners of property across JG from site, <br /> believe remodeling is a continuation of a past mistake and prolongs <br /> the time the building will be non-conforming, also danger to traffic <br /> and children on bikes; serious question on septic system because of <br /> proximity to stream. <br /> TOWN BOARD: Not present. <br /> COMMUNICATION: Telephone call, Don Walker, engineer, County Highway <br /> Department, no objection if parking is prohibited on road side of building. <br /> #241. Appeal by Henry Sproul from denial of a permit to repair or <br /> restore a non-conforming building located on a parcel of land in the <br /> S SF% Section 14, Township of Rutland. Permit denied because setback <br /> from C.T.H. "A" is less than required by the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> IN FAVOR: H. Sproul, hardship is based on one shed being blown down <br /> in storm, and this shed is needed to store this year's tobacco crop. <br /> The east end of shed will be removed. <br /> uuTHERS IN FAVOR: None. <br /> OPPOSED: None. <br /> TOWN BOARD: Telephone call, L. Onsrud, chairman, Town Board in favor. <br /> COMMUNICATION: Telephone call, Don Walker, County Highway, no objection. <br /> to, #212. Appeal by Wayne Wolf from denial of a permit to build an addition <br /> to a non-conforming building located on a parcel of land in the NEi MAI <br /> of Section 27, Township of Dane. Permit denied because setback from <br /> C.T.H. "P" is less than required by the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> IN FAVOR: W. Wolf, converting to bulk-milk, required milk house must <br /> be attached to milk barn. Requested change of location of addition from <br />
