MINUTES OF THE DANE COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> MEETING OF DECEMBER 15, 1971 <br /> The Dane County Board of Adjustment met on December 15, 1972 with the <br /> following members present: Erickson, Holte, ;lahlk Also: Enger, Fleck <br /> Meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. in Rom 226, City-County <br /> Building to conduct a public hearing as published in the notice. A motior. <br /> was made by Dahlk to approve the minutes of Nvember 17, December 9, <br /> and December 13, 1972, second by Holte, carriid. <br /> The notice was read and the public hearing was opened. <br /> #203 Appeal. by Pearl Becker from denial of a permit to build a residence <br /> on parts of Lots 2 and 3, Quam's Additis:, Shadyside Park, <br /> Township of Pleasant Springs. Permit dried because side yard <br /> is less than required by the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> IN FAVOR: Irving Quay+ representing Pearl Ba:ker, variance of 1 foot <br /> ( 6 inches on each side) is necessary to build ar planned. Change of <br /> plans at this point would require interior changes which would prove <br /> very difficult. <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: None OPPOSED: None TOWN MUD: I. Quay;:, Supv. in <br /> favor. <br /> #204 Appeal by Blair Bunbury from denial of a permit to build a garage <br /> on L t 34 Brickson Park, Township of Danl.. Permit denied because <br /> side yard is less than required by the pane County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> IN FAVOR: Blaine Bunbury rroposed garage req.''_res a sideyard variance <br /> of 3.5' . Mr. Enger, Zoning Supervisor, pointed out that the existing <br /> Jordan Drive was not part of the ori;inel plc.: and therefore a setback <br /> of 30' is .required. The proposed setba.ok of ,2).5' would also reau.ire a <br /> variance which would be 9.5' . <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: None OPPOSED: None TOWN BARD: Not present, messag <br /> to Mr. Enger, Truman Felland, Chairman - The "own Board has no objet <br /> ion. <br /> #205 Appeal by Virgil H. Ripp from denial of a permit to build a machine <br /> and storage shed on a parcel of land located in the SW s NE of <br /> Section 30, Township of Vienna. Permit denied because setback from <br /> Highway 113 is less than required by the Dane County Zoning Ordinan -. <br /> IN FAVOR: Virgil Ripp Correction of notice, %lhould be Highway 113. <br /> Proposed building will provide use of farm machine and crop storage. <br /> No other location in farm complex is available.. Building cannot be <br /> closer to barn because of inclined drive. Turning the building would <br /> require the same variance. The highway is lorted entirely on Ripp's <br /> property. Mr. Ripp owns ROW on Westerly side :rf highway. The State <br /> Highway Department has no plan at present, for improvement of 113. <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: None OPFCSLJ: None TORN BOARD: Not present, <br /> message to Mr. Enger from E. Kaltenber.g, Supervisor, Town Board is not <br /> opposed. <br />
