March 2, 1993
James Klassy
305 S. First Street
Mt. Horeb, WI 53572
To Whom It May Concern:
The Mt. Horeb Wisconsin Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses
has proposed to purchase 3 . 35 acres in the Township of
Springdale to construct a Kingdom Hall (Church) , to use for
religious purposes.
This new Kingdom Hall will have a maximum building capacity
of 200 persons . The average expected attendance will range
from approximately 100 - 125 persons per meeting.
The proposed approximate time schedule would be a May 1993
starting date through the late summer months or early fall
months for completion.
We feel that this property is well suited for this Religious
building. This parcel of land has been divided from the
larger farm by relocation of Hwy P, Ridgeview Rd. and Hwy
18-151 . Due to this major highway construction the original
soil on this parcel has been disturbed. Large amounts of
fill have been taken off the property to use at the
interchange of the new highway, there for the use of this
land as good productive farm land is in question.
This location is suitable due to its easy accessibility from
Ridgeview Rd. to County Hwy ID, and from County Hwy P to Hwy
18-151 . The Ridgeview Elementary School is a few hundred
yards to the west on Ridgeview Road. Religious properties
typically have little impact on traffic, do to the time of
use and amount of occupancies each week.
Sincerely,
1' 4447
ames N.
