Dane County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> Variances are necessary to permit construction of a garage on Lot #8, <br /> Morris Park Section 9, Town of Dunn. <br /> IN FAVOR: F. Erhardt OPPOSED: None TOWN BOARD: Not present <br /> #712. Appeal by Robert and Rose Cooper for a variance from required <br /> left side yard as provided by Section 10.12 (6) (a) Dane County Zoning <br /> Ordinance. Variance is necessary to permit construction of an addi- <br /> tion to a residence located in the NW 1/4 NE 1/4 Section 2, Town of <br /> Fitchburg. <br /> IN FAVOR: Robert Cooper OPPOSED: None TOWN PLAN COMMISSION: in <br /> favor. <br /> #713. Appeal by the Town of Montrose for a variance from required set- <br /> back from CTH PB as provided by Section 10. 17 (2) Dane County Zoning <br /> Ordinance. Variance is necessary to permit construction of a pump house <br /> in Paoli Park, part of the NE 1/4 NE 1/4 Section 10, Town of Monrose. <br /> IN FAVOR: D. Ray, Supervisor; Warren Porter. OPPOSED: None LETTER: <br /> Dane County Highway - no objection. <br /> The public hearing was closed. <br /> 410, <br /> #700. Motion by Voges second by Schwahn to approve an 8 foot variance <br /> from front setback and a 7 foot variance from right side yard. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1. Existing garage is located on road side of lot as are all other <br /> garages in the area. <br /> 2. Proposed garage will not be closer to the road than existing garag- <br /> or other garages in the area. <br /> 3. Location to provide required side yard will block door and win- <br /> dows of residence. <br /> 4. No objections were submitted. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> a. Proven case of unnecessary hardship. <br /> b. Variance is necessary to provide right enjoyed by others. <br /> c. Variance is not contrary to rights of others or to the <br /> public interest. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> #701. Motion by Voges - second by Schwahn; residence may not be closer <br /> than 42 feet from right-of-way. Variance denied. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1. Lot is 66 feet wide and over 150 feet in depth. A minimum area <br /> of 46' x 56' is available for a building site the area is open <br /> and level and a variance is not necessary. <br /> 2. Residence should be designed for the lot not vice versa. <br /> C <br />
