Structure built originally under variance. <br /> 3) . . Town board, Planning Commission and County Highway in favor. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> 1) . Proven case of unnecessary hardship. <br /> 2) . Variance is not contrary to rights of others or to the public <br /> interest. <br /> Motion carried. Unanimously. <br /> #1289. Schwahn/Miller to grant a variance from number of required signs <br /> on a Class A Highway. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1) . Signs aid in traffic flow and alleviate congestion during peak period- <br /> of highway usage. <br /> 2) . Signs erected under permit. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> 1) . Variance preserves the zoning ordinance as much as possible without <br /> injustice to applicant. <br /> 2) . Variance is not contrary to rights of others orto the public interesu . <br /> • 3) . Hardship is caused by the ordinance and is not self-imposed. <br /> #1290. Kruschke/Schwahn to grant a variance from fees required for zoning <br /> permits and -variances related to tornado damaged properties. <br /> 410f FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1) . Hardship was imposed upon those affected persons through an act of <br /> God. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> 1) . Proven case of unnecessary hardship. <br /> 2) . Variance preserves the zoning ordinance as much as possible with- <br /> out injustice to applicant. <br /> 3) . Hardship is caused by the ordinance and is not self-imposed. <br /> Motion carried - unanimously. <br /> Other Business: <br /> #1211 Stehr - Westport - request of extension of Special Exception Permit <br /> was granted until November 15, 1984, Schwahn/Kruschke motion carried. <br /> Unanimously. <br /> #1144. Garfoot - Springdale - request to extend expired variance from set- <br /> back was denied, due to the precedence it may be setting - the board in- <br /> structed the Zoning Administrator to notify applicant of next hearing so he <br /> may re-apply. <br /> Motion to deny Miller/Schwahn - Unanimous. <br /> #1268. Regan - Vienna - Variance request was held in abeyance to allow appli <br /> cant to re-design proposed addition without necessity of variance. Revised <br /> drawing by applicant requires a 5 foot variance. <br /> C <br />
