Motion by Harvey, second by Schwahn to grant a variance of 40 feet <br /> from required setback from S.T.H. 92. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1) . Residence is over 100 years old and was made non-conforming by high- <br /> way and ordinance. <br /> 2) . Old deteriorated porch was removed; the replacement will not be as <br /> large or be closer to the highway. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> 1) . Proven case of unnecessary hardship. <br /> 2) . Variance is not contrary to rights of others or to the public <br /> interest. <br /> 3) . Hardship is caused by the ordinance and is not self-imposed. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> CVO #1160. Motion by Schwahn, second by Kruschke to grant the Special Exception <br /> Permit with the following conditions: <br /> 1) . Construction operations shall be carried out in such a manner and <br /> sequence that erosion and water pollution will be minimized. <br /> 2) . the filled and/or graded and disturbed areas shall be sodded or <br /> seeded with fast growing grasses and mulched to prevent siltation or <br /> erosion. <br /> 3) . The applicant shall request inspection by the Dane County Zoning <br /> Department upon completion of the project. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1) . Purpose of project is to improve and maintain shoreline. <br /> 2) . Permits have been obtained from Department of Natural Resources for <br /> the sea-wall. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> 1) . The project as planned, with specified conditions; will not re- <br /> sult in substantial detriment to navigable waters by erosion, <br /> sedimentation, impairment of fish or aquatic life, or safe and <br /> • healthful conditions. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Schwahn, second by Voges to adjourn.
