All spoils shall be spread and leveled. <br /> 2. Banks of new ditches and existing ditch banks which have been <br /> disturbed by the dredging shall he seeded with growing grasses <br /> as early asveather permits and mulched to prevent washing and <br /> siltation. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1. Project is necessary to improve drainage in existing fields. <br /> In recent years the field has been wet into early summer. <br /> • <br /> 2. Water is pumped over a dike and into the creek thereby elimi- <br /> nating siltation problems in the creek. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> 1. Dredging and clean-out of ditches and digging of new ditch/es <br /> is necessary to provide proper drainage of existing fields. <br /> 2. The project as planned, with specified conditions; will not <br /> result in substantial detriment to navigable waters by ero- <br /> sion, sedimentation, impairment of fish or aquatic life, or <br /> safe and healthful conditions. <br /> #962. Motion by Voges, second by Purcell to grant a variance of 11 <br /> feet from the required rear yard. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1. Location of residence and septic system will not permit pool <br /> to be located in a complying location. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> 1. Proven case of unnecessary hardship. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> #941. Inspection by Zoning Department disclosed that the distance to <br /> the normal high waterline was 33 feet and not 35 feet as measured by <br /> Mr. Algrim. Difference was probably in the interpretation of the normal <br /> high waterline. The dimensions of the addition and locational relation- <br /> ship to adjacent buildings are as specified in the application. An addi- <br /> tional 2 foot variance is necessary to correct the difference. <br /> Motion by Schwahn, second by Kruschke to amend the variance from 15 feet <br /> to 17 feet. Motion carried. <br /> The Board discussed zoning previsions pe rt a i ni ne to solar units and <br /> swimming pools. Motion by Vogt , second by Purcell to request the <br /> Zoning Committee to review the locational requirements for solar units <br /> and swimming pools and also to take into consideration possible safety <br /> and nuisance factors relating to the swimming pools. Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Voges, second by Purcell to adjourn.
