MINUTES <br /> BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> Meeting of July 24, 1980 <br /> PRESENT: Voges, Purcell, Schwahn, Dahlk <br /> ALSO PRESENT: Enger, Fleck. <br /> The meeting was called to order by Chairman Dahlk at 7:30 p.m. in Room <br /> #224 City-County Building to hold a public hearing as advertised by <br /> Class II notice. Motion by Voges, second by Schwahn to approve the minute- <br /> of June 26 and July 22, 1980. Motion carried. <br /> The notice was read and the public hearing was opened. <br /> #903. Appeal by Carl Hanson for variances from required setback from <br /> normal high waterline and from front property line as provided by Section <br /> 10.16 (7) (c) and 10.17 (4) - Dane County Zoning Ordinance. Variances <br /> are necessary to provide permitted buildable areas on Lots 3, 4, 5 & 6 - <br /> Brickson Park, Section 22, Westport. <br /> IN FAVOR: C. Hanson OPPOSED: None TOWN BOARD: Bernard Kennedy, Chairman <br /> no objection; R. Shepard, Supervisor, in favor Plan Commission 2 - 0 vote <br /> to deny. COMMUNICATION: None <br /> #904. Appeal by James Smithback, for a variance from required parking <br /> spaces as provided by Section 10.18 (4) (h) and (j) - Dane County Zoning <br /> Ordinance. Variance is necessary to permit addition of six bowling lanes <br /> to the Badger Bowl, 506 E. Badger Road, part of Lot #5, Jacobs and Barker <br /> 41:11, Plat, Section 36, Town of Madison. <br /> IN FAVOR: James Smithback OPPOSED: None COMMUNICATION: Letter from <br /> Town Board, in favor. <br /> #905. Appeal by Kenneth Hagemann for a variance from the required setbac • <br /> from road as provided by Section 10.17 (3) - Dane County Zoning Ordinance <br /> Variance is necessary to permit construction of an accessory building at <br /> 4898 Rome Corners Road, SE 1/4 SW 1/4 of Section 24, Town of Oregon. <br /> IN FAVOR: K. Hagemann OPPOSED: None COMMUNICATION: Letter from <br /> Town Board, in favor. <br /> #906. Appeal by William Acker for a variance from required setback <br /> from road as provided by Section 10.17 (1) - Dane County Zoning Ordinance <br /> Variance is necessary to permit re-building of a portion of the residence <br /> at 5147 U.S.H. 12, Lot #1, CSM 3420 - Sections 26 and 27, Town of Spring- <br /> field. <br /> IN FAVOR: Wm. Acker OPPOSED: None COMMUNICATION: None <br /> #907. Appeal by Larry and Kathryn Barrow for a variance from required <br /> side yard, rear yard and setback from road as provided by Section 10.071 <br /> (7) (a) , 10.01 (8) (b) and 10.17 (2) - Dane County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> Variances are necessary to permit construction of a residential garage <br /> and a porch addition to residence at 5279 Corner Court, NW 1/4 NW 1/4 - <br /> (111.° Section 28, Town of Westport. <br /> IN FAVOR: L. Barrow, Martin Batz, neighbor OPPOSED: None TOWN BOARD <br /> Bernard Kennedy, Chairman, no objection. PLAN COMMISSION: 3-0 vote in <br /> favor.
