Motion by Schwahn, second by Purcell to grant a variance of <br /> 5 feet from required setback from normal high waterline. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1. Encroachment into shoreland setback is caused only by an inlet <br /> dug into shoreline by the previous owner for the purpose of a <br /> boat landing. Shoreline is, otherwise, relatively straight and <br /> does not cause a problem with setback. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> a. Proven case of unnecessary hardship. <br /> b. Variance is not contrary to rights of others or to the public <br /> interest. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> #910. Motion by Voges, second by Schwahn to hold in abeyance in order <br /> to provide time for Mr. Hamre to check State sign requirements. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> #898. Required variance for accessory building height overlooked; <br /> could have been included with appeal heard on June 26, 1980. Motion <br /> by Voges, second by Schwahn to waive fee for height variance appeal. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> #740. and #747. Request for extension of expiration date for special <br /> exception permit #740 and variance #747, Lot #196 and part of Lot #197 <br /> (OW East Hill Addition to Belmar, Town of Fitchburg. Motion by Purcell, <br /> second by Schwahn to grant an extension of one year. Finding of fact, <br /> etc. remain the same as found for the original appeals on November 30, <br /> 1978. Motion carried. <br /> #902. Request by American Structures General, Inc. and Paul's Power <br /> Center for Board approval to permit re-application for variance in <br /> less than one year from the date of denial. Letter from applicant was <br /> presented. Motion by Schwahn, second by Voges to deny request, new <br /> evidence or proof of change of conditions not provided. Motion carried; <br /> Dahik voting no. <br /> Zoning Administrator, L. J. Enger, presented the 1981 budget for Board <br /> approval. Motion by Voges, second by Purcell to approve as presented. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion to adjourn by, Schwahn, second by Voges; motion carried.
