MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE DANE COUNTY <br /> L <br /> BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MINUTES <br /> COMMITTEE HELD ON November 20, 1986 <br /> The following members were present: Voges, Kruschke, Miller, Quackenbush, <br /> Jones. <br /> Also, Fleck, Reynolds and Rankin. <br /> Meeting called to order by Chairman Voges at 7:30 p.m. in Room #224 <br /> City-County Building as published by Class II Notice. Testimony recorded on <br /> tape. <br /> Quackenbush/Kruschke to change order of appeals. Petitions held in abeyance <br /> #1498, #1500 and #1503 to be first and Petition #1514 and reconsideration of <br /> Appeal #1497 to be heard last. <br /> Motion carried - 5-0. <br /> #1498. Kast - Burke - 10/23/86 public hearing. <br /> #1500. Kalhagen - Christiana - 10/23/86 public hearing. <br /> #1503. Hinz - Windsor - 10/23/86 public hearing. <br /> Board rendered the following decisions regarding those petitions held in <br /> abeyance. <br /> #1498. Kast - Burke. <br /> Miller/Jones to hold in abeyance until next (December 18th public hearing) <br /> meeting to allow applicant to provide Board with a plan of buildings to be <br /> removed. Motion carried - 5-0. <br /> #1500. Kalhagen - Christiana. <br /> Kruschke/Miller to approve variance of 1 foot 4 inches from required height of <br /> accessory buildings to allow construction of a residence garage. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1) . Owner has revised original requested variance, thru re-design of <br /> structure, to minimize variance. <br /> 2) . Applicant has a recreational vehicle which requires addition height. <br /> 3) . Surrounding properties are farms and vacant farm land. <br /> CONCLUSIONS: <br /> 1) . Variance preserves the zoning ordinance as much as possible without <br /> injustice to applicant. <br /> 2) . Variance is not contrary to rights of others or to the public interest. <br /> Motion carried - 5-0. <br /> #1503. Hinz - Windsor. <br /> Quackenbush/Miller to approve variance of 34 feet more or less from required <br /> setback from normal high waterline to allow construction of accessory building. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br />
