'°i_mft <br /> ` <br /> PETITION <br /> We the undersigned are opposed to the development of the Faga property at <br /> the end of Sumac Circle (Town of Westport) . We did not oppose the Fagas' <br /> original purchase of the land because they agreed to one house only being <br /> built on the site (as recorded with Dane County) . We believe that <br /> currently there is a traffic and safety problem in this area because of the <br /> configuration of the streets, and we believe the problem would be magnified <br /> by more development and more traffic volume. Further, relative to the land <br /> around the Faga property, the situation now is not very different than it <br /> has been: the Emslie Plat was always expected and intended on the south <br /> side; and the golf course continues the "green space" that is presently on <br /> the north, east, and west sides of our neighborhood. The Fagas stated when <br /> purchasing this land that they would build one home, board a few horses, <br /> and grow flowers for Janice' s dried arrangement business. We believed <br /> their statements to be sincere because they agreed to sign the one-house <br /> restriction, and we feel that such agreements should be binding and <br /> honored.
