• I <br /> COMPOSIT REPORT <br /> APPLICATION # \-1-4•3 <br /> TOWN BOARD COMMENT: <br /> STAFF COMMENTS <br /> REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSION (RPC) <br /> Petition 5631. This proposed commercial and industrial use is proposed on an existing residential <br /> parcel in the farmland preservation area of the Town of Windsor. <br /> The plan makes no provision for such commercial uses in the agricultural preservation area, but directs <br /> it to the urban service area. The commercial site to the west is a trucking operation, which was there <br /> prior to the plan. <br /> The Wisconsin Department of Transportation recently completed improvements to USH 51 in this <br /> area. One of main reasons for the improvements was to deal with conflicting traffic movements. <br /> Adding a commercial use at this rural location will cause new traffic conflicts. <br /> Such uses should be in the urban service area as directed by the plan. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DEPT.
