Weber: 1*f:r.;..'ATi; .;c' 1.;;f:co--I tnlFO MATln*.A'l f OS. :.,.
A water sample was taken on November 5, 1990 from the
outside faucet at the above referenced location, examined by
the State Laboratory of Hygiene and found to be
bacteriologically safe due to the fact that no bacteria of ,
the coliform group were found in the sample portions
examined. .
The water sample was also examined for nitrate concentration
and results indicate a level of 8.5 milligrams of nitrate as
nitrogen per liter of water. This level is below the United
States Public Health Service standard of 10 milligrams per
liter. Therefore, the nitrate level should be safe for
consumption by all family members, including infants under
six months of age.
The private water supply consists of a joint well which is
located at 3796 Park Knoll Drive. The observable portions of
the well appear to comply with the minimum criteria of
Wisconsin Administrative Code ch NR 112.
Our file indicates that the private sewage system serving
this premises was installed by Walter Hensler , MP #4034, in
December of 1976. Designed to serve a 4 bedroom house, the
system consists of a 1 ,200 gallon prefabricated concrete
septic tank and a 1 ,008 square foot drainfield . There were
no external physical signs of failure that were apparent at
the time of my inspection. Current ILHR codes would require
a minimum drainfield of 1 ,260 square feet. Two inches of
ponding was observed in the drainfield vent pipe.
