Dane County Zoning Dept. 5-17-93 <br /> Madison, WI. 53704 <br /> RE; CUP of asphalt plant #1065 <br /> In view of the recent meeting and notice you sent to area residents on the <br /> CUP, we are writing to express our opposition to the asphalt plant. Your <br /> notice was received, but it did not give most of us time to plan our schedules <br /> so that we could attend the zoning meeting that night. <br /> Most of our nieghborhood is opposed to such a plant. It would bring air <br /> pollution as well as possible water pollution to our homes. It seems the <br /> construction of such a plant is totally against everythiong the Lower Wis. <br /> Riverway Board is trying to accomplish with the environment. <br /> Our water and air quality are important to us. Hopefully you will take this <br /> into consideration if you have not already made your decision. The profits of <br /> a few individuals should not be the only thing your board bases it ' s decisions <br /> on.
