This proposed boarding and riding stable is on an existing rural residential <br /> parcel of 13.3 acres in the Town of Rutland. There are homes on most of the small parcels in the <br /> area. <br /> The use may be compatible with the area if there is a site plan, specific limits on the livestock and <br /> protection provided for the mapped wetland on the northern portion of the property and Grass Lake to <br /> the east in the Town of Dunkirk. <br /> The site plan should address: <br /> - building locations <br /> - corral locations <br /> - trail locations <br /> - manure storage/disposal <br /> - parking areas <br /> With this sensitive site and only 13 acres, there needs to be a specific limit on total livestock, such as <br /> one animal unit per acre, which generally applies to the R-H and A-2 Districts. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DEPT.
