Reason rezoning is required. <br /> We built a home on the west 1 . 92 acres of CSM <br /> 3818 last year and the one acre we are asking <br /> to rezone is excess land we would like to <br /> sell as a single family homesite. We could <br /> sell the land 'as is ' with its current 'B-1 ' <br /> zoning but would prefer to downzone to 'R-1A' <br /> and eventually have a home built next to us <br /> rather than a business. <br /> Existing land uses are scattered-site <br /> residential, agricultural and recreational <br /> (Lake Kegonsa State Park) . We feel that <br /> residential use would be more compatible with <br /> these activities than uses allowed under <br /> 'B-1 ' zoning. <br /> The excess land is currently listed with <br /> Matson Realty in Stoughton as a 'B-1 ' parcel . <br /> If downzoned to 'R-1A' we would continue the <br /> listing with Matson as a residential building <br /> site. <br /> 6.
