ZONING p PHO'"E
MADISON, WasCOnisiN 53713 (A08) 271-0366
9 Mar 93 MAR U 9 1993
ZONIAID DIV.
TO: Mr. William Fleck
Zoning Administrator
Dane County, Wisconsin
SUBJECT: Application for Rezone out of wetland, Likes Property,
Town of Blooming Grove.
Dear Mr. Fleck,
After receiving your letter of 6 Jan 93, a copy of which is
attached hereto, I immediately started looking for a qualified
expert to address the issues contained in the County Ordinances
Sect. 11.10 (2) a,b,c,d,e,f and g. We have had sad experiences
in the past on two occasions when attempting to supply similar
data to the Army Corps of Engineers. That is to say, the so
called experts were unreasonably expensive and they knew and did
nothing.
I have found and retained an engineer who comes highly
recommended and in whom I have confidence that we will not spend
a lot of money and receive nothing in return. In dealing with
the Army Corps, I have gained a good deal of information on the
subject of wetlands and the law that pertains thereto. I an sure
we have retained a good man this time.
Unfortunately, the engineer we have has a very full schedule and
requires an additional 30 days beyond 23 Mar 93, to do a proper
job. Incidently, none of these people are inexpensive to retain.
I therefore request that the Zoning Committee reschedule the
matter for their working meeting in the latter part of April 93.
This can harm no one since nothing has, is or will be done on or
to the property until the issues involved are settled with Dane
County and also the Army Corps of Engineers.
Thank you for your consideration.
Since ely,
r ,
A
Way 5J.
