Your property is currently <br /> zoned RH-1 which allows all of the uses permitted in the R-1 Residence <br /> district. Please see Section 10.09 (1)(a) Dane County Zoning Ordinance, copy <br /> enclosed. Section 10.16 (9)(d) of the ordinance (copy enclosed) provides that <br /> the parking of one semi-tractor and its trailer is allowed in the Ag and <br /> Residence districts subject to specified requirements one of which is a <br /> Certificate of Compliance. <br /> Therefore, as specific truck parking is allowed in the residence districts and <br /> the RH-1 District allows all permitted uses in the R-1 Residence District, you <br /> may park your truck on your property subject to compliance with §10.16 (9)(d) <br /> of the zoning ordinance. Please be advised that only one truck is allowed, <br /> the second trailer currently parked on your property is not permitted. <br /> I do apologize for our not catching this sooner, having permitted uses listed <br /> separately in different sections of the ordinance does cause us problems <br /> occasionally. I have enclosed the instructions for obtaining the certificate <br /> of compliance, the second trailer will have to be removed prior to our <br /> issuance of the certificate.
