D.E.D. Yes. <br /> ANALYSIS; 5216 Rezone will allow creation of a residential parcel for an <br /> individual who is employed on the farm. The proposed use <br /> complies with the Farmland Preservation Law. The Town of <br /> Rutland has responded to the RPC comments pertaining to <br /> soils, their communication is attached. <br /> STAFF COMMENTS: <br /> R.P.C. — Petition 5216. This proposed non-farm residential lot Is In the <br /> agricultural preservation area of the Town of Rutland. Policy *4 is: <br /> "To limit non-farm residential development to those areas with soils not <br /> classified as prime farmland or those of statewide Importance (as shown <br /> on the soil map) ." <br /> According to the USDA definition and maps, the entire site Is either <br /> prime farmland soils or soils of statewide importance.
