Offerdahl, hereafter <br /> known as the undersigned, in Section 28 of the Town of Vermont as <br /> described in the attached map marked exhibit A. The 4. 3 acre <br /> parcel is part of a larger parcel owned by the undersigned in <br /> Section 28 which has a tax parcel number of 30-070628391808. <br /> According to sheet 97 of the Soil Survey of Dane County, soil on <br /> the parcel consists of Basco Silt Loam (BaC2) and some Elkmound <br /> Sandy Loam (EmD2) . <br /> Use of the rezoned parcel will be residential for the family <br /> of the undersigned. Once this petition is approved, a driveway <br /> permit will be secured from the Town of Vermont. The driveway must <br /> be completed within 90 days of commencement of construction. Upon <br /> completion of the driveway, the Town will then grant a building <br /> permit for the residence. If there are no unforseen complications, <br /> this rezone request should be approved at the beginning of April, <br /> a driveway permit issued at that time and completion of it by the <br /> beginning of July, issuance of a building permit in July, and <br /> completion of the residence by the end of 1992 . <br /> The undersigned owns a total of 40 contiguous acres of land <br /> in the Town of Vermont. All but 5. 6 acres of this land is <br /> presently committed to the Woodlands Preservation Act. It is a <br /> part of this 5. 6 acres which is the subject of this rezone request. <br /> A 4 . 3 acre parcel is being rezoned because a final building site <br /> cannot be determined until spring. There is a prairie remnant <br /> which the undersigned wishes to preserve. Its exact dimensions <br /> cannot be determined with snowcover, and will dictate the locations <br /> of the residence, driveway, and septic system.
